Side One
- DOG's Rag 2:03 Neo-Note Music (BMI)
- Named after a wonderful Doberman named DOG (pronounced DeeOhGee) who lived with a wonderful redhead named Sue. It's a variant on "I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate."
I still play it.
- Angie 2:39 Miller Music (ASCAP)
- Bert Jansch's classic. I still play this and have a good time.
- Arizona Road Song 2:20 Neo-Note Music (BMI)
- A little banjo tune that jumped into my hands one afternoon. There's a longer version running around with dialog, but not here.
- Hymn 9 2:34 Neo-Note Music (BMI)
- Kind of a Salvation Army sort of thing on the twelve string.
- Olita's Song 2:29 Hawkesbury Music (BMI)
- mandolin!
- Freight Train 2:19 Peter Maurice Pub. Co. (ASCAP)
- The Liz Cotton classic
Side Two
- Meadowlands 2:15 (ASCAP)
- A nice little Russian tune that goes well on the banjo.
- Malaguena 3:04 (ASCAP)
- This has become something of a "signature piece" for me over the years.
- Just Plain Fred 3:15 Neo-Note Music (BMI)
- this tune had no name when I recorded it, and the producers asked me for a name, so I told them "Fred. Just Plain Fred."
- Under The Double Eagle 2:30 (ASCAP)
- Gawd, but this one is fun to play!
- Grandfather's Clock 1:57 (ASCAP)
- yet another Old Hoary Standard that is fun to jazz up a bit.
- Raga Neo-Note Music 6:38 (BMI)
- Off into the ozone with a retuned guitar.

This was originally recorded back in 1969. I was living in Hollywierd and thought it was Big Stuff indeed.
I was doing some work as a sideman at Capitol Records, a few local appearances and road trips now and
again, hanging out with Big Names and making decent money, but I just couldn't stand L.A., so I came home to Phoenix. I've never been sorry.
I've seen this record advertised in the lists of rare vinyl dealers, so if you really want a copy, you can
probably find one if you look hard and long enough. It's currently running (Nov 2006) at between $50 and $100 dollars a copy, which I find astounding!

Produced by: Joe Koistra & Jim Pettinotti
Musical Co-Ordinator: Mitchell Tableporter
Photos by: Phil Willen, taken at Knott's Berry Farm, California
All instruments by Joe Bethancourt ..... 12-string guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin etc., but someone else played the
Pedal Steel. I've never gotten up the nerve to learn that thing.
