The Fabulous NERF SISTERSMeet the Fabulous Nerf Sisters, entertainers par excellance!

The Nerf Sisters have been touring the world since they started in 1876, the year that Custer lost the battle. Some people find this to be a rather ominous beginning, but time has proved them wrong.

Hailing originally from Düsseldorf in Germany, they rapidly developed their talents. Realizing that Düsseldorf was too small for their abilities, they signed with a theatrical agent, one Phineas T. Flywheel, whose guidance and advice has stood them in good stead over the years and miles.

After the performance with the African shaman, who granted them eternal youth, their career truly took wings. They performed for several Kings and Queens of Europe, and even for the Mikado of Japan and several Plains Indian tribes.

The BandAfter a period touring with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, they took up residence in Toledo, Ohio for a period of rest and relaxation, until the sudden outbreak of the Spanish-American War.

Their patriotic love for their adopted country of America, plus the lucrative opportunities thus presented, led them first to Florida and then to Cuba and the Phillipines - entertaining the troops despite the obstacles placed in the way by bluenoses and others.

When Prinzip murdered the Archduke and his wife in Sarajevo (some think out of unrequited love for Hermione) the Nerf Sisters were ready to entertain the troops again, and willingly did so throughout the War.

Caught in Petrograd at the time of the Russian Revolution, they temporarily changed their name to the "Lenin Sisters." This astute move, plus Dingo's romancing of an officer of the Secret Police, enabled the girls and their band to escape by dogsled to Finland.

The Paris Band The Roaring Twenties and the 1930s were a heady time for the girls, appearing as part of the cast in "Dreigroschen Opfer" and headlining with Django Reinhardt.

Thru the good offices of their friend Lord Greystoke, they were able to meet several notable personages and had many unusual adventures during this period of their history.

Escaping Paris just ahead of the German conquerors, they returned to New York City and from there went to Arkham, Mass., for an extended performance in the local Phalansteries.

USO work, and service with the Red Cross occupied them during the war years.

Post-war, they embarked on a whirlwind tour of the United States and Canada, cementing their reputations and winning many new friends, notably Bob Hope, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and Wilfred Thermowhistle. It is rumored that they also gave a command performance for His Satanic Majesty.

They make irregular appearances with the Queen Of The Universe, and occasionally appear at the fabled Mrs Grundy's Irish Bar & Grill & Bait Shop in beautiful downtown Ajo, Arizona.

Together, they play more that thirty different musical instruments, with Hermione an acknowledged master of the incredibly difficult Oxymoronica. Her duets with Dingo playing Snood are legendary among afficionados of authentic 19th Century music of the Old West..

There is no doubt that the fabulous Nerf Sisters will be a fixture in entertainment world wide for many years to come!

This is Klaus Minestrone, our banjo player. He was born in Arkham, Mass. and migrated to the Old West under mysterious circumstances when he was a teenager. He speaks fluent gibberish, which enabled him to land a job as an interpeter to the Hohokam Tribe in Arizona, who taught him their secret Banjo-Fu.

He learned how to be invisible at will from the Faithful Indian Companion of the noted Sam Hane, one Runs-With-Scissors, which stands him in good stead sometimes since he is after all a banjo player.
