The Ozark Banjo Dance is a secret rite performed at the dark of the moon. Only women are allowed to see or participate in it. It is said that a Banjo Player once secreted himself in a tree and saw the Dreaded Dance, but was discovered by the women and made to play an accordion until he went insane. He was never seen again!

Some anthropologists have tried to connect this with the Mexican Fish Dance, but this is merely speculation, as it is well known that the Dreaded Dance goes all the way back to the pre-men of Atlantis.
